Ryman Family Holds
Reunion At Orange
The seventh annual reunion of
the Ryman family was held at the
Orange Church House Building at
Orange last Saturday.
There was a good attendance and
a very pleasant time was had. Busi-
ness meeting was called by the
President, Paul Ryman of Chenango
Forks, N. Y. Prizes were given to
the oldest member, Mrs. Addie Aus-
tin; largest family, Wilson Ryman;
coming longest distance, Mr. and
Mrs. L. B. Ryman of San Francisco,
Cal; Mrs. Clyde Eggleston was given
prize for one who put forth the
greatest effort in coming.
Officers elected were Wilson Ry-
man, president; Mrs. Arthur Webb,
vice-president; Mrs. Paul Valentine,
secretary-treasurer. Was voted to
meet next year.at same place the
last Saturday in August.

Mrs. Marcus Ludt
Back From Vacation
Mrs. Marcus S. Ludt, Shaver-
town, has returned after a five
weeks trip that took her across
country by car, taking in such
points of interest as Denver, Salt
Lake City, Yellowstone Park, Lake
Louise, Banff, Seattle, and Port=
land, Oregon, and brought her
back via United Airline Strato-
cruiser.
Mrs. Ludt drove west with her
sister, Mrs. R. F. Radue and niece
Joan, residents of Audubon, N. J.
They visited Mrs. Ludts’s daughter,
Mrs. Richard E. Ewing, in Rich-
land, Washington, where Mr.
Ewing is a research chemist in the
Atomic plant at Hanford, Wash-
ington.
On arriving at the National Air-
port, Phiadelphia, after a thirteen
hour trip above the clouds from
Portland, Mrs. Ludt was met by her
husband and her daughter, Mrs.
James Barber of Philadelphia.
The air trip started shortly after
8 PM last Tuesday, with a full
moon to light the way. Mrs. Ludt
says she never dreamed anything
could be as beautiful, and she
didn’t sleep a wink, the moonlight
was so lovely on the clouds.
Harvey's Lake
Mr. and Mrs. Morrison Witter
have returned after visiting Mr.
and Mrs. John Cowan at Snow Hill,
Maryland. Miss Joan Cowan re-
turned with them to spend three
weeks visiting her friends here and
in Beaumont.
Mr, [Floyd VanHorn. Cambridge,
Mass., is Visiting friends there. It
has been four years since Mr. Van-
Horn was last here to visit old
friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Michael (Clark have
returned to their summer home
after spending a week in Canada.
The Harveys Lake Womens Ser-
vice Club will hold a Bake Sale on
Mrs, (Carl Swanson’s lawn tomorrow
at 2 PM.
Mrs. Joseph Rauch will enter-
tain the Executive Board of Har-
veys Lake Women's (Club Tuesday
evening at 8.
Jack And May's Place
Has A New Proprietor
George Mason, Kingston, thas pur-
chased Jack's and May’s Tap Room
on Route 309, and will henceforth
operate it as Mason's Villa, Within
the near future Mr. Mason expects
to make a number of improvements
to the kitchen and restaurant facili-
ties of the building, He was formerly
in the auto top and seat cover
business.
