The bride wore full-length white nylon and satin gown, cut with lace bodice, long sleeves, and a Queen Anne’s collar. Her headdress was a Juliet cap and veil, and she wore her grandmother’s pearls. She carried white carnations with a cen- ter of red roses. Miss Lozo chose lilac gown and carried pink carnations with a cen- ter of pink roses. Mrs. [Shrely, mother of the bride, selected dress of pink and white lace and corsage of white carnations, while the bridegroom’s mother, Mrs. William, wore a sheer Bemberg print, mavy accessories, and pink carnations. Following the ceremony, a recep- tion for 125 guests was held at the Shavertown Fire Hall.
