Three FTA Boys Judge At State Lehman Group Does Well At Convention Three boys from Lehman-Jack- son Joint High School were among the 1400 Future Farmers of Amer- ica who attended the State Conven- tion at Pennsylvania State College June 10, 11, and 12. ‘ Darrel Major placed third in the Poultry Judging Contest, George Major judged Dairy Cattle and Joe Brown was in the Farm Mechanics Contest. T. Sutliff, 77, of Benton, was held Sunday from a Benton funeral home. Rev. Clifford Williams of Benton Metho- dist Chuch officiated. Mrs. Sutliff died last Thursday at the home of her sister, Miss Verna Lamoreaux, at Fernbrook. She had fallen at her home in March and fractured her hip. After spending eight weeks in the hospi- tal, Mrs. Sutliff took up residence with her sister. Born March 20, 1875, Mrs. Sut- liff was the daughter of the late Philip and Maria Hoover Lamor- eaux, and resided in Lake Town- ship until 1895 when she was mar- ried and moved to a farm in Hun- lock Twonship. Mr. and Mrs. Sut- liff went to live with their son, Delbert, in Benton thirteen years ago- Mrs. Sutliff is survived by her husband, son, sister, a daughter, Mrs. Ivay Wilson, Forks, and two brothers, Norman T.
