Sylvia Brown, Bride
of Glen Bredbenner
At a very simple wedding, Sylvia
Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Marvin Brown of (Chase Road,
Trucksville, became the bride of
Glen C. Bredbenner, son of Mr. and
Mrs, “Ambrose Bredbenner of ‘Ash
Street, Wilkes-Barre, Friday, March
21 at 7:30 p.m. Rev. Bob Mathews
performed ‘the ceremony in the
Gospel Center Tabernacle.
Attendants were, Mrs. Louie Ayre,
Carverton Road, Trucksville, and
Sylvester Yefko of Wilkes-Barre.
The bride wore grey suit with
navy accessories. Mrs. Ayre also
selected grey amd navy.
Following the
ceremony, the
couple left for a trip to Virginia.
They are residing with the bride's

‘Clarence is enrolled in Industrial
Arts at Lake-Noxen, preparatory to
his life’s ambition of becoming a
mechanical engineer,
His activities show a wide range
of interests.
For three years he has played
forward on the basketball varsity
team, and is now co-captain.
He is [pitcher and second-baseman
on varsity baseball team.
He plays intra-mural football.
He is on the staff of the yearbook
and belongs ‘to the photography
club.
Hobbies are deer-hunting, trout-

Contata On Good Friday
{Senior [Choir of Dallas Methodist
[Church will present ‘The Seven Last
Wiords of Christ” by Dubois on (Good
Friday night at 8 p.m.
Mrs. John Roberts Sr. will be the
soprano soloist, Richard Oliver,
tenor and William Baker, bass. Guest
soloist will be ‘Atty. Theodore Evans,
baritone of Wilkes-Barre. He will
represent the voice of Jesus. Mr.
Evans has been soloist at Derr Mem-
orial Methodist Church and also
with the Little Theatre Light Opera
Group.
Choir members are: sopranos,
Mesdames John Roberts, Sr., Henry
Welsh, William (Sarley, Edward
Stencil, Clive Hope Robert Crosby;

Lake-Noxen Band Concert
Scheduled On Wednesday
Instrumental music students of
Lake-Noxen School are preparing
for their annual band concert
which will be given Wednesday at
8:00 in the Auditorium.
The concert, under the direction
of Louise Schlick, will include sev-
eral instrumental music groups.
Third Grade rvhythm band and

duet by Roberta Lord and Marjorie
Bryden; and a clarinet trio by Judy
Searfoss, Phyllis Kocher, and Pat-
| ricia Cornell. i
The program will also be given
in the Noxen Theater, April 8, at
8:00.
Fourth Grade flute band will offer
several numbers in addition to a
program by junior and senior
bands.
Solos will be given by David Mur-
ray, Carol Yudisky, Charles Gordon,
and Jessie Armitage; a saxophone
