Le hman Girl Scouts And Brownies Plan Big Things For Friday, 28th [Christmas vacation each year, holds a special treat for Lehman Girl Scouts and Brownies, who gath- er for a day of outdoor sports, a ’ 5 or / $0 party and the awarding of badges. Girls and their leaders will meet . at the Lehman Methodist Church at 11 a. m., December 28, each bring- ing a hobo lunch. They will go to Major’s Pond to eat lunch at the fireplace. Skating and tobogganing will follow for two hours. Returning to the church, Scouts will rehearse for the evening's en- tertainment, Guests will be their parents, and Miss Helen (Sellers, Miss Nancy Sloan and Miss Dolores Mor- ris, (Girl ‘Scout Headquarters, Wilkes- Barre, Scouts working on ‘their cook- ing badge will prepare the evening mea] of pancakes, jelly, cocoa and apples. The evening program will open with Christmas carols played by two sisters, Jean Carol Dodson, Scout; and Nancy Jane Dodson, Brownie. A Christmas pantomime featuring Christmas traditions, customs and carols of other lands will be pre- sented by Troop 156, looking toward improvement of International rela- tionships.
