‘Mr. and Mrs. Fred Welsh, Honored
On Silver Wedding Anniversary
A complete rehearsal of her wed-
ding, with some of the original
wedding party, arranged by her
husband, was the delightful sur-
prise of Mrs. Fred Welsh at her
silver wedding anniversary party
held at the family home on Center
Hill road last Friday.
The bride entered on the arm of
Foster B. Williams, an old friend
taking the place of her father, now
dead. Sisters acted as bridesmaids
in the absence of friends now living
in Ohio. Milford Shaver Sr., Fred's
best man twenty five years ago,
produced a new wedding ring from
his pocket, gift of the bridegroom.
Ralph Welsh, Freds brother, re-
peated as usher.
Mrs. William Hanna, daughter of
the couple, sang the same songs
that thrilled twenty five years ago
and cunning little Janice Hanna,
granddaughter of the couple, was
ring bearer.
Lovely gifts, flowers and cards
poured in from everywhere. Rev

dustrial Engineering. At Lehigh he
