“At Harveys Lake Tea Party
Mothers and daughters of the®
Harveys Lake Woman's Service
Club enjoyed a tea at the Lake
Township High School last Thurs-
day evening when entertainment
was furnished by Miss Mary Jack-
son, mezzo soprano Misericordia
student, accompanied by Miss Janet
Cornell, Meeker, by a piano solo by
Miss Cornell and a reading by Miss
Janet Gibler.

The first year of the Back Moun-
tain Library’s existence, the meet-
ing was held in the newly ac-
quired and remodelled building.

loss this season as Orange took
them 5-4. The next game will
be at Noxen.

Charles Everetts, Jr. at the death
of his father.

Daughter Tea sponsored by the
Lend-A-Hand Club with Mrs. Arno
Smith, who had her four daugh-
ters present.
Jeanette Traver, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Voyle Traver, heaped
more honors on us when she won
the fifty dollar English Award at
Bloomsburg State Teachers’ College
for writing the best theme on
“Why I Need Fifty Dollars.” Jean-
ette is also on the “Dean’s List.”
