St. Paul's Lutheran Church
St. Paul's Lutheran Church will
begin its “Every Member Visita-
tion” on Sunday. Members of the
Church Council, together with other
men of the congregation, will share
in this work of the Church. Those
who will take part will be commis-
sioned at the Service on Sunday
at 11:00 A. M,
The services for Sunday are as
follows: }
9:45 AM. ~—Sunday School. The
lesson theme is ‘Victorious Daily
Living.”
11:00 A.M.—The Service, The
pastor of the Church, Rev. Freder-
ick W. Moock, Jr., will preach on
“A Blessing or a Curse.” Included
with this service will be the com-
missioning of the visitors: for the
“Every Member Visitation.”
7:00 P.M.—Luther League, Plans
will be made for Christmas Carol
singing on Christmas Eve. All
teen agers are cordially invited.

St. Paul's Lutheran Church held
its annual congregational meeting
last Tuesday, Newton Ness pre-
sided.
Rev, Frederick W. Moock, Jr,
pastor, spoke of the past year's
progress and asked the members
for their continued cooperation in
the year ahead.
Frederick W. Malkemes, super-
intendent of the Sunday School,
reported on its activities.
Mrs, Thomas E. Hontz, president,
Ladies’ Auxiliary, reported for that
. orgainzation.
Mrs. David H. Robertson spoke
in behalf of the Dorcas Society.
Mrs. Frederick W. Moock, Jr.
in the absence of the president of
. the Altar Guild, Mrs. Earl Reese,
. cited the fine spirit and success of
that organization.
The Luther League, the teen-age
: group of the Church, was repre-
sented by Barbara Malkemes.
Mrs, Ralph Franklin read the re-
port of the Sunshine Class.
Obed Hontz, vice-president of
the Brotherhood, spoke in behalf
- of the Brotherhood.

Club’ monthly meeting in the Par-
ish Hall,
Sunday, December 17, canvas-
sers will call on the members who
are asked to remain at home Sun-
day afternoon. Canvassers will
meet Sunday at 8 P. M. for a re-
port. The budget calls for $11,-
220.52 to be raised on pledges. So
far on 59 pledges $3,000.00 has
been raised.

people's Christmas party for the

Dallas Borough Hi Y Club, now
in its second year, has voted to
base its 1950-1951 program on the
Hi Y four-fold program: clean
speech, clean scholarship, clean
sports and clean living. The Club
will also sponsor a ‘Career Day”
sometime in March.
Advisers of the Club are Bern-
ard Rockovich and Eugene Goff.
