Troop Committee Plans
Holiday Activities
Troop Committee of Girl Scouts
Troop 149 met at the home of Mrs.
Jack Barnes, leader, on Monday
to discuss plans for the holiday
season. Mothers are invited to
visit the troop meeting on Wed-
nesday, December 13, 4:30, to talk
over plans for the Christmas tree
trimming and for the singing of
carols on a date not yet announc-
ad.
Scouts are selling fruit-cakes for
the benefit of Camp Wildwood.
Mothers will meet at the church
Thursday night at 7 P.M. to make
decorations for the tree.
Girl Scout Troop 149 comprises
the younger scout group, recently
graduated from the Brownies.
Mrs. Dan Robinhold, transportation;
Mrs. Ralph Williams, treasurer;
Mrs. James Langdon, camp com-
mittee; Mrs. Trumbower, member.
Present at the meeting: Mes-
dames Ralph Dixon, James Lang-

Harry Ohlman Elected
For Sixth Term
President of Dallas Borough
School Board for the sixth time,
Harry Ohlman retains his seat. Dr.
Robert Bodycomb replaces the re-
tiring vice president, L. L. Richard-
son; Atty. John R. Hessel was re-
elected solicitor.
Other officers are Lewis W. Le-
Grande, Sr., secretary, and R. L.
Brickel, treasurer.

Dale Warmouth, Jackson Town-
ship, Wilkes College student, is
having a poem published in the
Annual Anthology of College Poe-
try, a volume sponsored by the
National Poetry Association.
Dale won a competitive scolar-
ship to Wilkes this year, encourag-
ed to take the examination by
Mrs. Ned Williams, instructor of a
course in constructive writing pre-
sented at the YM.C.A. and a mem-
ber of the Wilkes faculty.
