Have Twin Sons Capt. and Mrs. Robert Shortz of Orange have announced the birth of twins boys, Robert and Edwin at General Hospital, August 26. Mrs, Shortz, the former Winifred Schooley, has returned to her home but the twins are still in the hos- pital. The Shortzes have one other child, Wendy, aged two. Dad Shortz is with the 109th Battalion at Camp Atterbury, Ind. Driving To California Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ray Flan- agan and son, Donald, of Church street, left this week for California. They will stop at Louisville, Ky., to visit friends. En route -they will visit the painted desert and the petrified forest and friends at Twiana, Mexico. In they will be guests of their daugh- ter, and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs, Ray Baumgartner at Martinez. They will return by way of Denver, Chicago and Detroit where they will visit their daughter and son- in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Barrett Cox. They will be gone a month. St. Paul's Dorcas Class Makes Plans For Party Members of the Dorcas Class of St. Paul’s Church, Shavertown, met at the Church Tuesday night and completed plans for their Game Night to be held in the Fire Hall, Tuesday, September 26. Walters, son of Mrs. Anna Walters of Hunlock Creek, Satur- day, August 26. Rev. David Menges performed the ceremony in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Kings- ton. Following the ceremony, a recep- tion was held at Huntsville Recrea- tion Center and the couple left on a trip through the New England States and Canada. They are re- siding at Meeker.
