Mrs. Louise Williams
Is Buried On Monday
Largely attended funeral ser-
vices were held Monday morning
from McLaughlin Funeral Home for
Mrs. Louise Williams, widow of the
late Fay Williams of Harvey's Lake.
Mrs. Williams died last Thursday
at Mercy Hospital where she had
been a patient for two months.
A registered nurse and veteran
of World War 1 she had taken an
active interest in infantile paraly-
sis ever since the death of her
husband, specializing in care of iron
lung patients at Scranton, Green-
ville, N.C. and Dayton, Ohio, where
there were epidemics.
A solemn high mass of requiem
was celebrated in St. Therese’s
Church, Shavertown. Rev. J. J. O’-
Leary was celebrant; Rev. Ed-
ward Haggerty, deacon, and Rev.
Thomas F. Corcoran, subdeacon.
Mrs. Robert Laux was organist and
a quartet from the Catholic Daugh-
ters of America sang.

M. Laing Fire Company for a used
ladder truck which has been re-
