“The Child of Bethlehem” a can-
tata, will be presented by the Sen-
ior Choir of St. Paul’s Lutheran
Church on Sunday morning, De-
cember 18, under the direction of

Women of Huntsville Christian
Church will observe Woman's Day
Sunday evening at 7:30 with a
film, “Kenji Comes Home” depict-
ing missionary work in Japan. The
service which was scheduled for

Announcement of the betrothal
was made last Wednesday evening
at a party at the home of the

Miss Navas was born in Madrid
while her father, then professor of
languages at International Corres-
pondence School, was establishing
a branch school in that city. She
is a graduate of Central High
School, Scranton, attended Mary-
wood College and is a member of
Junior Century Club, She is pre-
sently employed by radio station
WARM.
Rev, Williams was graduated from
Lehigh University, Virginia Theo-
‘logical Seminary and is a member
of Phi Beta Kappa. He served as
first lieutenant with the First Army
in the European Theatre. He is now
rector of St. Peter's Episcopal
Church in Plymouth, .
During April he reorganized the

elected President of Dallas Kiwanis
Women’s Club: Wednesday. evening.
Other officers chosen were: Mrs
Jack Loucks, first vice president;

Mrs, Clyde Cooper presided. A
three-member auditing committee
was appointed: Mrs, Edward Hart-
man, Mrs, George Cupples and Mrs.
Donald Harris. Birthday gifts do-
nated by Mrs, George Montgomery
and Mrs. Herbert Griesing were
won by Mrs, Garey Cupples and
Mrs, George Montgomery. Mrs.
Mitchell Jenkins was introduced as
a new member. Next meeting will
be held December 28.
Members are to bring a fifty
cnt gift. Committee will be. Mrs,
Harold Smith, Mrs. Sherman
Harter and Mrs, Jack Loucks.
Mrs. Frank Werner, Pioneer ave-
nue, who is a talented artist dis-
played a member of her paintings
and discussed modern art and
painters. = She was heartily ap-
plauded for her interesting talk.

the new church on lower main
road and as soon after the first of
the year as possible, will devote
his entire time to the local parish.
After the marriage, the couple
will reside in the Marjorie Lee
home on Terrace street for the
winter months. They expect to build
in the new Goss Manor section.

members of her card club at a
spaghetti dinner on Tuesday. Pre-

Robert D. Caryl, son of Mr, and

was graduated from the Central
Airlines Institute of Kansas City,
