Jersey Hunters
Are Fined $1,200
Four New Jersey residents were
apprehended in an effort to ad-
vance the antlerless deer season by
.one week, Salvitore Nicolette, Nut-
ley, Nicolas Anthony Nicolette, Bel-
vedere, Anthony Joseph Foti, Pas-
.saic, and James Fusaro, Belvedere,
had two doe deer in the trunk of
their car which they had shot in
Pennsylvania on Saturday. Enroute
to their homes they found another
.doe deer killed on the highway

which they loaded into the back
seat of their sedan. They were ap-
prehended at a road block on Route
611 and paid fines in the amount
of $300.00 each or a total of $1,200.
The Forty Fort office of the Penn-
;sylvania Game Commission reports
that they are deluged with ques-
tions concerning the antlerless
:season which will open for one day
tomorrow. Hunters are advised that
.antlerless deer of either sex are
legal prey from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m,
Any person who has killed legal
antlered deer during the open sea-
son from November 28th to Decem-
ber 9th, is not permitted to kill
.an antlerless deer on Saturday nor
is any person who has partici-
pated with others in the killing of
six deer during the buck season
permitted to hunt for antlerless
.deer. Otherwise, the usual regula-
tions as to the type of gun, bul-
lets, rosters, etc., that generally
apply to the hunting of big game
will be in effect tomorrow.
