natives of Utah, and as is the cus-
tom of the Morman Church are
spending two years in missionary
work before continuing with their
college courses. Norman L. Dunn
who served two years here, is now
back at the University of Utah
majoring in Law.
The young men hold services
every Sunday morning at 10:30
at the home of William Philo of
Jackson Township. There are
twenty in the congregation. All
are converts except two families
who moved here from Idaho.

In State Fund

To Local Companies
Auditor General Weldon B. Hey-
burn announced this week that
he has approved payments to total-
ling $788,799.38 to the Firemen’s
Relief Fund Association in sixteen
counties.
The monies represent the two
per cent tax in the premiums of
fire insurance policies written
within the political subdivisions in
which the Relief Association is
located, by companies whose main
office is outside the boundaries of
the Commonwealth. The money
is forwarded to the treasurer of
the municipality, who turns it
over to the Relief Association of
the fire companies or fire depart-
ment, paid or volunteer, serving
that community, and which are
duly recognized by the councils,
boroughs and townships.
Amounts distributed in the Back
Mountain area are: Dallas Borough
$431.87; Dallas Township $208.45
to Dr. Henry M. Laing Fire Com-
pany; Jackson $75.52 to Jackson
Volunteer Fire Company; Kingston
Township $363.69, to Trucksville
