bridal satin with a double bertha
collar edged with saw-toothed scol-
lops outlining an off-shoulder neck-
line, a fitted bodice and full skirt
entrain. Her fingertip veil fell
from a seed pearl tiara. She
carried a Colonial bouquet of white
roses.
The matron of honor wore a
gown of waltz blue taffeta similar
to that of the bride with a double
bertha collar edged with saw-
toothed scallops, short sleeves and
matching gauntlets.s She wore a

Mrs. Willard Cornell lof
became the bride of Samuel} Balick,
son of Mrs. Susan BalickK of Nes-
quehoning, Sunday in the Maple
Grove Methodist Church. Professor
Henry Kiessel performed the double
ring ceremony before an altar
banked with white carnations,
peonies, and palms. Miss Janet
Cornell, sister of the bride, played
the wedding march and Alice Gor-
don sang “I Love Thee,” ‘Because’
and The Lord's Prayer.”
Attendants were Miss Dorothy
Cornell, sister of the bride, of State
College and Samuel Devan of Nes-
quehoning. Ushers were Harold
and Ralph Cornell, brothers of the
bride. .
The bride was attractive in white
satin gown fashioned with tight
bodice, full skirt en train, high
neckline with lace yoke and long
tight sleeves, pointed at wrist. Her
full-length veil fell from wreath of
tiny feathers and she carried a
bouquet of white roses and orchids.
Miss Cornell chose aqua gown,
similar to the bride’s and matching
bonnet and mitts. She carried
yellow roses.
Mrs. Cornell, mother of the bride,
selected black and vari-colored
print and pink roses and Mrs. Ba-
lick, mother of the bride-groom,
black and white and red roses.
Following the ceremony, a re-
ception was held at the home of
the bride and the couple left for
the Poconos, and New York City.
Mrs. Balick is a graduate of
Lehman High School and Penn
State College. For the past three

Bride At Lovely June Wedding
were James Keiper, brother-in-law |
small bonnet of white horsehair
trimmed with waltz blue illusion
and carried a Colonial bouquet of
pink roses. The bridesmaid wore
a matching gown of coral taffeta
with bonnet trimmed with coral
illusion. She carried a Colonial
chose gowns of aqua and yellow
roses. The Junior bridesmaids
wore gowns of aqua and yellow
taffeta with ruffled bodices and
skirts and small horsehair bonnets
trimmed to match. They also car-
ried small nosegays of pink and
yellow roses.
The bride's mother chose an
orchid crepe dress with natural
and brown accessories, and a
corsage of yellow roses. The
bridesgroom’s mother selected a
grey print dress with brown and
white accessories. Her corsage was
pink roses.
A reception was held in the
Church parlors immediately follow-
ing the ceremony. After a trip
through the New England States
the couple will reside on Machell
avenue, Dallas.
The bride is a graduate of Kings-
ton Township High School and
Nesbitt Memorial Hospital Train-
ing School for Nurses. For the past
two years she has been in charge
of the obstetrical department of
Maimonides Hospital, Liberty, N.Y.
Mr, Ide was graduated from. Dallas
Borough High School and served
wth the U. S. Marines during
World War II. He spent two and
a half years in the States and one
year in the South Pacific. He is
now employed by the Delaware
and Hudson Railroad Company.

the State Troopers for the past
seven years. During the war he
served with the U. S. Navy.
The couple will reside in Du-
shore.
