Mr. Lord and his wife, the former Ida Fiske of Sweet Valley were married April 21, 1883, at Beaumont by Rev. MacRoy. The couple will also "celebrate their birthdays next month. Mr, Lord will be ninety-one and Mrs. Lord will be eighty-four. Mr. Lord who engaged in farm- ing for many years, retired in 1934. Although he has been in ill health recently. He is now able to be up and around. They hé&Ve seven children: Char- les, Dallas R. D. 2; Harry, Dallas R..D. 1; wwhlizabeth Morris, Sweet Valley; James, Huntsville; Mrs. George Kreller, Plymouth; Dana, Sweet Valley; Mrs. Perry Hoover, Dallas R. D. 2. They have twenty grandchildren and twenty three great grand children.
