turned to her home in Trucksville
after being a patient in General
Hospital. She is getting along nicely.
Wednesday her son and daughter-
in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Wil-
liams Jr., came down from Dow
Field, Maine to be her guest.
Alfred Davis, who recently re-
ceived his bachelor’s degree from
Bloomsburg State Teachers’ Col-
lege, is serving ninety days active
duty with the ordnance personnel
division of the organized reserve
corps of the Army. He is stationed
at the Pomeroy Building in Wilkes-
Barre. |
Mrs, William Evans fell at her
home at Vernon recently and broke
her hip. She has now returned
from Moses Taylor Hospital where
she received treatment and is con- |
fined to bed at home.
