to be out again after being confined
to his home with bronchitis for the
past two weeks.

turned to their home on Main road

weeks in Florida.
Mrs. Florence Phillips of Nor-
ton avenue is spending several days
in Harrisburg as guest of her dau-
ghter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
Richard Simonton.
Mrs. Lewis Stritzinger was guest
of honor at a birthday party given
by members of the Rickey Club at
her home in Fernbrook last Wed-
nesday. She received many lovely
gifts. Present were Mrs. Edward
Sowers, Mrs. George Shaver Sr,
Mrs. Oscar Dymond, Mrs, Claude
Cooke, Mrs. George Shaver Jr., and

Have New Baby Girl
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Brobst of
Pinecrest avenue have announced
the birth of a seven pound baby
girl at Nesbitt Hospital, Thusday,
girl, Sharon Alice at Nesbitt Hos-
pital, Thursday, January 20. This

New Officers Are Installed
At Meeting Of Kiwanis Women
Mrs. Clyde Cooper was installed
as president of Dallas Kiwanis
Women at the meeting Wednes-
day evening at Irem Temple
Country Club. Other officers in-
stalled were: first vice president,
Mrs. Charles Smith; second vice
president, Mrs. Kenneth Rice; re-
cording secretary, Mrs. J. W. Rear-
don; corresponding secretary, Mrs.
Walter Elston, treasurer, Mrs.
David Joseph. Mrs. Fred Anderson
officers and committee members
with corsages and was in turn given
a corsage by Mrs. Cooper.
Mrs. Anderson reported on the
Club’s social service work and
read notes of thanks from the re-
cipients. The annual report of the
treasurer was given by Mrs. David
Joseph and Mrs. Herbert Griesing
reported for the auditor’s commit-
tee.
Birthday gifts were given by Mrs.
Donald Harris and Mrs. Earl Hess
and won by Mrs, Griesing and Mrs.
Rice.

ville Christian Church was feted at
a baked ham dinner held in the
church social rooms following Bible
