Water Company Makes Refunds Represents Overcharge Made in September An estimated $1300, collected in error from consumers: served by the Dallas and Shavertown Water Companies, is being refunded. The money, representing a rate increase authorized by the Public Utilities Commission to be put into effect October 1st, was collected erroneously from the consumers for the quarter ending September 30. The refunds amount to about $1.50 for each of the 550 consumers of the Shavertown Water Com- pany, and about 75 cents for each of the Dallas Water Company’s 600 consumers, ; Philadelphia served as the Capi- tal of the United States from 1790: to 1800.—PNS.
