ALLEN'S LUNCHEONETTE SHAVERTOWN Pillar To Post (Continued from Page One) a as regretful that I had been caused delay and trouble, and enclosed a credit slip for thirteen cents to defray the postage used in sending back the skirt. The concern was very glad to make the substitution, as the original article had proved unsatisfactory, and the policy of the company was to satisfy the customer at all costs. The second package contained a | printed notice to the effect that nine cents postage was due on the order, but that the package had been mailed in spite of this derelic- tion on my part. I could use the stiff card with the diagonal fold and the enclosed envelope to send nine cents in small coins and thus balance the account. This left me in a quandary. If I returned the extra yardage of flannelette after all the fuss I had made, I would be labelled as a crank of the first water. Anybody who sews for young children can absorb five extra yards of pink flannelette. I mentally readjusted my Christmas list and sent out a check for two dollars and eighty cents, along with the card contain- ing nine cents in small coins. Today, hanging from the hook of the mailbox, there was a brown paper package. It contained five yards of pink flannelette.
