' When God passed out hips
I Wasn't There
When God passed out brains
I thought he said trains
And I missed mine.
When God passed out looks
I thought he said books
And I didn’t want any.
When God passed out noses
I thought he said roses
And I asked for a big red one-
When God passed out ears
i I thought he said beers
And I asked for two short ones.
When God passed out legs
I thought he said kegs
And I asked for two large ones.
I thought he said lips

My Desk |
My desk is just a sanctuary
I dare to call my own,
With bits of paper, dictionary,
A lamp and telephone.
It may not be as orderly
As one that you may own,
But Sir, it is my place to muse]
And must be left alone.

But a girl worth while
Is the girl who can smile |
When you're bringing her home
