on Saturday afternoon, June 27,
1942 at 4:30 P. M., in the Center+
moreland Methodist Church. The
Rev. Thomas F. Kline, pastor of
the church, officiated. The bride
was given in marriage by her uncle,
Arthur Shook. “Attendants were

rence Merrill of Williamsport.
The bride was attractive in white
birdseye pique street length dress
made with peplum jacket and Irish
lace inserts. She wore a picture
hat of white bengaline and shoul-
der bouquet of daisies and babies
breath. Miss Shook chose ice blue
summer crepe with matching hat
fashioned like the bride’s and a
shoulder bouquet of pink roses. Both

The bride is a graduate of Dallas
Borough High School, class of 1936
and Penn State College, class of
1940 and is teaching Home Eco-
nomics in Woodbury High School,
Woodbury, Pa. She is a member of
Charitides sorority. The bridegroom
is a graduate of Replogle High
School, class of 1933 and Juanita
College, class of 1935 and is a teach-
er in the Woodbury Schools. The
couple will make their home in
Woodbury, Pa., after September 1st.

at Orchard Farm Sunday after-
noon at 3 o’clock, by Rev. Francis
Freeman, of Wilkes-Barre, former

Church. Miss Evelyn Knappman,

high school, played the wedding
music.
The bride who was given in mar-
riage by her father, was gowned in a
floor length dress of white marquis-
ette over satin. The bodice had in-
sets of lace, square neckline and
long sleeves. She wore a shoulder
