Radio Slogan Wins APrize / Mrs. Howard DeRemer Gets $25 Baby Bond Mrs. Howard L. DeRemer, of Dal- las, is the lucky winner of a $25 United States Government Savings Bond ‘awarded in the fifth week’s $100,000 radio slogan contest, spon- sored by a national soap company. Names of five hundred other win- ners from all over the United States have also been made public. For submitting the best twenty-five word statements they will receive U. S. Savings Bonds aggregating $16,000 maturity value. The prizes include one $1,000 bond, twenty-five $100 bonds and 500 of the $25 denom- ination. To. date 2,630 of these bond awards have been made by the sponsors, who have been commend- ed for their patriotism in selecting Federal securities as prizes. Residents from every state in the union: as well as the Hawaiian Is- lands have been among the lucky winners.
