The Business Men’s League will start bowling Monday night after a two-week vacation. ‘All teams will follow schedule in order print- ed. The bowlers of the West Side Merchants’ League are laboring under a mistaken idea of being im- posed on. According to the rules of the league, all teams are sure of taking some of the prize money in addition to getting that annual out- ing which costs them nothing. Teams that are failing to show up with their full complement of bow- lers are showing a poor attitude. Bowlers who have bowled in the first half of the season are throw- ing away their chances for the finals in the sweepstakes. Notice is giv- en these men to get back into the lineup before January 14 or else be disqualified for participation in the event. The Luzerne Anthracite is well represented in the bowling game. Three teams are in the Business Men’s League and one in the West Side Merchants. | Phil Richards has made good his) boast of being the best man on his | team. The Piledgi Tavern has resolved not to get a certain bowler’s goat when next they meet. “Butch” Ko- zik thinks it bad enough to lose a game without getting ribbed about it. Greenwald’s have put in a new | gear for the race starting next! week. Balogh is through with his woodsmanship and now will center his attention on that one and only | dear. With Barbhart hitting them hard, the rest of the team vouch that he will not be in there alone. Bill Schultz thinks the rest has done his Stegmaier’s team a world of good. Tibus, with his hand in- jured, made the team look weak, but now that all is over with, the team will start where they left off. Upholstering Free Estimates PAUL B. SMITH Rr, 16 N.
