Conrad Will Celebrate
25 Years In Business
The success of Conrad Motor Com-
pany, well-known West Side automo-
bile agency, has grown hand in hana
with that attained by the manufactur-
ers of Dodge motor cars, for the con-
cern was formed at the time the Dodge
first appeared on the market in 1914.
The Dodge-Plymouth agency has dis-
play rooms located at 303 Wyoming
avenue, Kingston.
Conrad Motor Company has long
been known throughout the Valley as
a, square dealing organization, and
every motor car or truck sold from its
show rooms or lot carries with it a
guarantee and precedent for complete
satisfaction to the purchaser. Con-
rad’s is one of the oldest and most
reputable dealers in the state, cele-
brating its twenty-fifth anniversary
next year along with the Dodge.
Conrad’s was among the first dea-
lers in the county to introduce Ply-
month automobiles when they came
into being some years ago, and the
concern now carries a complete line
of Plymouths, Dodges, Dodge commer-
cial cars and trucks, and also deals
Burnaford Shoes
Have Many Boosters
Depressions and recessions are dis-
turbing enough, but a falling business
graph isn’t anywhere near as paln-
ful as a falling arch. Posperity means
smiling faces, but even those smiles
that have turned the corner are a
trifle wan and strained when the foot
market is off a few points.
Although Charles N, Burnaford can’t
possibly guarantee business success, he
can and will guarantee the smile of
health and comfort. For Mr. Burn-
aford carries the best in shoes, both
in appearance and hygienic qualities,
and can give you a good, firm footing.
In his modern shoe store at 53 West
Market Street, Wilkes-Barre (the
Sterling Hotel), he carries a complete
line of Nettleton shoes and 'Whitehalls.
