Street is confined at General Hospital,
where she underwent an operation
Wednesday for adhesions. She Is re-
ported in good condition, and will
probably return to her home within

nue, Dallas Mrs. Nicholson motored
with her son to New York City where

Tuesday evening,

BULFORD REUNION
Robert Bulford of Trucksville pre-
sided as members of the Bulford fam-
ily held their annual reunion, Sunday,
August 21 at Lehigh Valley park. All
Officers of the family were reelected
at the noon business meeting: Mrs.
Violet Rodda, Wilkes-Barre, Vice-
president; Miss Elizabeth Brecken-
ridge, Dallas, secretary; Miss Sarah
Moss, DeMunds Road, treasurer; Wil-
liam B. Rhineman, Huntsman, histor-
ian,
Pioneer members who were present
were Samuel Bulford, 91, and B. Frank
Bulford, 82, who are brothers, of
Huntsville. Their grandmother, Mary
Johnson Bulford, was granddaughter
of Rev. Jacob Johnson, the first mini-
ster of Wyoming Valley. Their grand-
father, Albon Bulford was an English
sea-captain.

vesterday with a party for 17 guests.

: New Peace Bridge
Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Himmler of
Lake Street and Mr. and Mrs, John
Montross and daughter Betty Ann,
who have just recently returned from
a vacation trip to Canada, were much
impressed by the newly completed
Peace Bridge, spanning the Thousand
Islands between the United States and
Canada. They were present at the
bridge on the dedication day. Besides
visiting the immense span, they spent
some time at Toronto, Niagara Falls,
and Watkins Glen.
