Jones of Plymouth Bor- ough Schools gave an inspiring talk on “The Life and The Man, George Wash- ington” before Kingston Township Par- ent-Teacher Association on Monday night. In contrast to present day writers, who seem to enjoy attacking the lives of our early heroes and founders of our country, Professor Jones gave a talk which was ap- preciated and considered as one of the finest the audience had ever heard. After the speaker, the business meeting was held. The chairman of the Milk Fund reported 36 grade pupils are being served with free milk. The treasurer re- ported profits of $109.93 from the card party. This, it was reported, will cover the cost of milk for the entire year.’ Bills amounting to $33.29 were paid. A long discussion was held with reference to asking the school board for permission to allow milkmen to sell milk in the township grade schools, to pupils not be- ing supplied from the milk fund. Prof. James A. Martin, supervising principal, of- fered to present this request to the school board at its nevt meeting. If this request is granted children who formerly bought milk from the stores of the community | will buy direct from the milkmen. freshments were served after the business session. \ Postpone Game *Til Re- | | Tuesday night with Mr. | | Saturday Evening | —_— / Kingston Township High School's game with Dallas Township, scheduled to be played tonight, will not be played until Saturday night because the auditorium will be taken by Tim Mix and his cow- boys, who will appear under auspices of the Shavertown Fire Company Ladies’ Auxiliary.
