Miss Martha Schuyler, of Darbury,

Mrs. D. F. Frear, for the past two
months, left for Washington D. C,
Friday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Frear

The death of Mrs. Amy ‘Straley, oc-
cured Friday evening. Funeral ser-
vices were held at the home of her
son Jacob Straley, of this place on
Monday, Interment in the Beaumont
cemetery.
Grange will be held. in the high
school auditorium, Saturday evening,
, December 19; Bowmans Creek Grange
will visit our Grange on this evening.
A program will be furnished by each

Robert Amyl, is spending some time
visiting friends, in Maryland.
The Ladies’ Aid held their annual
Bazaar in the basement of the Union
Church on Thursday last. Not a very
large crowd was present, due to weath-
er conditions. Mrs. Paul Richards and
Mary Denmon, each received a quilt,
for solicitating money.
Mrs. William Jones is on the sick
list, at this writing.
Mr. Alpha Dymond, who has been
working on the farm of Mr. Cob-
leigh, of Bast Dallas, for the past two
years, has returned home.
Betty Goodwin spent the week end
with Hazel Traver, of Evans Falls.
Mrs. L. .B. Hilbert, was a business
caller in Tunkhannock on Friday.
