Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ellsworth of Philadelphia, who are spending some time with Mr. Ellsworth’s mother, Mrs Carrie Ellsworth, of Forty Fort, were callers at the Olin Kunkle home on Friday last. Miss Alice Kunkle re- turned to Forty Fort with them. Palmer Updyke, who was recently called to San Francisco, Cal, by the illness of his brother, returned to his home last week. i ¢ Donald Hummel; who enlisted in the army several months ago, spent the national holiday with friends in Kunkle. The Ladies’ Aid Society held ‘its regular dinner meeting at the Grange hall on Wednesday. The quarterly conference for the Alderson charge of the M. E. Church, was held in con- nection with the meeting District Superintendent Dr. Lott of Kingston in attendance.
