No Date for Convention. Chairman Reese Lloyd rofuses to make known the date when he will again call ! the county convention together for the purpose of announcing the nomination of Arthur Dick for controller. Me says that after a careful recount ho finds Dick got a few more votes than Con troller Joseph Lloyd, the anti-machine candidate for the place. What the small majority Is ho will not announce. The reason for the delay and his reti cence, it is alleged, is that he wants to give Joseph Lloyd time to cool down and restore harmony in the Republican ranks.
