The Commissioners of Cambria
County, Pennsylvania, will offer
at Public Sale on the 14th day of
November, 1949, at 10 o'clock A.
M.,, in Court Room No. 4 in the
Court House at Ebensburg, Penn-
sylvania, certain seated land in
vania, assessed in the name of
Joel A. Gates Estate as 165
Acres of fee, tax item No. 68-
0090 purchased by the Commis-
sioners on June 14, 1926, at a
County Treasurer's Sale for non-
payment of taxes.
Said tax sale has not been re-
deemed by the owner or reputed
owner, Joel A. Gates Estate, and
the title thereto is now in Cam-
bria County subject to the lien of
a mortgage given by Joel A.
Gates and E. Katie B. Gates, his
wife, to Margaret V. Zentmyer,
dated June 25, 1897, and recorded
in Mortgage Book Vol. 31, Page
342, given to secure a debt of
$1945.75.
The purpose of the proposed
sale is two fold, namely.
(1) To realize for the tax
levying bodies interested therein,
the highest sum obtainable for
said premises; and
(2) To return said premises to
the tax rolls of Cambria County
and to the Township of White
and the School District of White
Township in said County.
