Over Carrolltown
In Legion Opener
Barnesboro Legion defeated
Carrolltown Legion, 50 to 30, last
Monday evening on the Barnes-
boro floor in a Cambria County
Legion League opener.
Roberts for Barnesboro topped
the scores with 15 points while
Cicero with 13 points and Lantzy
with 12 were high for Carroll-

St. Francis College topped In-
diana State Teachers, 556-45, last
Wednesday at Doyle Hall on the
Loretto campus.
The Red Flash took the lead in
the first stanza, which ended 11-6,
and stayed out in front the en-
tire game. The half ended 22-17.
Indiana outscored St. Francis,
14-12, during the third quarter,
but the Frankies came back with
21 in the last frame to 14 for
the visitors.
Frank Mansfield led the scor-
ing for St. Francis with 16 mark-
ers, while Capt. Maus, Stapleton
and Darragh all played a major
part on the Red Flash offensive.

Gallitzin took the lead in the

in front throughout the fray,
holding a 26 to 13 lead at the
half.
Barnesboro outscored the vis-
itors, 13 to 12 in the third quar-
ter and in the final quarter, both
