Hk DELEGATION INTERVIEWS SHIRT FACTORY HEADS E. George, Frank Sunseri and Domenic Certo were appointed as representatives of the Spangler Business Men's Association to visit the Glen Campbell J. and C.| Shirt Factory last week. They met with representatives of the plant to obtain information concerning the construction of a factory in Spangler. If the plant 1s decided upon, -plans will be made, at a| meeting in the near future, for a temporary location until a perma- nent building can be erected. NEW OFFICERS ARE NAMED BY CIVIC CLUB At the regular meeting of the Civic Club of Spangler, which was held in the Firemen's Hall last Friday evening, a record attend- ance was reported. Plans were discussed on a site for the new factory, which is being anticipat- ed. Election of officers also took place with the following being chosen: Frank Sunseri replaced Vince Hammond as president; E. George replaced Frank Sunseri as Vice President; Dr. Sakon replac- ed Gordon Durbin as Secretary, and John KEasly replaced Earl Lantzy, as treasurer. Francis “Chick” Falls was elected public- ity chairman. The outgoing offi- cers ars commended for their ex- cellent work during the past year. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Butterbaugh and daughter, Peggy, of Clymer, were Sunday guests at the Mar- tin Fry home. : : Edward Conery of Detroit, Mich. and a former resident of Spang- ler, died on Monday, Dec. 9. He was a brother of Mrs. John Eli- ott. Mr. and Mrs. Holmes Gray and children, Jimmy, Tommy and Jack were guests at a dinner to cele- brate the third birthday of Earl Parrish at the home of his par- ents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Par- rish. Paul Kirsch, Earl Lantzy, Max Kirsch, Charley Glasser, Carl Lan- tzy and Eddie Kirkpatrick were on a hunting trip Saturday. Paul Kirsch was the only one of the group who killed a deer.
