HEILWOUD, MENTCLE, ALVERDA,

The Diamondville ball team nipped
the Mentcle boys to the tune of 4to 3
on Sunday, August 27th, on the Dia-
mondville ball field.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tomasko of
Cassandra, were Sunday visitors at the
Ella Lucas home.
Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Bennett and
family of Mentcle were social callers
in Smithport on Sunday.
Rev. Enty, Mr. and Mrs. James A.
Thornton, attended the Young Peoples’
meeting at the Wesleyan Methodist
Church in Indiana recently.
Mr. and Mrs. Martin Sojack and
daughter of Johnstown visited relatives
in Mentcle on Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Tulio Siane of Com-
modore, were recent guests at the Dan
Bozzer home in Mentcle.
Week end guests at the Bernard
Straw home were Mrs. James Kerr and
son of Glen Campbell and Mr. and
Mrs. Ray Clawson and son of Belsano.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Smith and son and
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Fuller of Gyp-
sy were recent dinner guests at the
George Trimble residence.
Mr. and Mrs. PatSy Celenza and fa-
mily visited relatives in Commodore
over the week end.
Miss Elsie Wilson of Indiana spent
the week end at the home of her par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. George Wilson in
Mentcle.
Recent guests at the Carl Frye home
were Mrs. George Hall of Pittsburgh;
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Vernon and Miss
Bee Cunningham of Media.
Miss Elaine Trimble was a recent
business caller in Commodore.
Mr. and Mrs. James Trinkley and
family were visitors in Barnesboro re-
cently. .
