A sad tragedy occurred in Johns
‘town on Sanday night of last week.
Miss Flora Marsh, the beantiful daugh-
ter of James A. Marsh, and her com-
panion, Sidney Callihan, were in the
former's room at her father's residence,
when Miss Callihan, in looking through
a drawer in a dresser in the room, dis-
| eovered a revolver. She took it from
its place and without warning the
weapon exploded, the ball entering
Miss Marsh's head near the temple.
Death resulted in a few hours.
