Buildings in Ridoway. Ridg
way, we actually believe, is waking up
to a sense of its importance as a
county seat at last. During tho past
summer about twenty-five substantial
houses have been put up. Many more,
wo understood, are iu contemplation of
erection next summer. Mr. J.S. Hyde,
we are informed, intends building a res
idence, besides a foundry, and several
dwelling houses. This is a step in the
right direction, and we hopo to hear of
others of our wealthy citizens following
his example. We venturo to say that
if there was to.day ono hundred houses
to let in our villago that they would be
tenanted in a month.
