Miss Naomi Mitchell, who has been in
Tyrone during the millinery season,
returned home Monday evening.
Mrs. Anna Mabon, of Marlon Center, was
visiting Mrs. Cora Mitchell and other
friends in Reynoldsville last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Claude Raymond, of
Smethport arrived Saturday to spend the
holidays with the latter's sister Mrs. Fred
Butler.
William Fetter, of New Maysville,
visited his son, W. W. Fetter, in Reyn
oldsville Inst week, returning, home

Mrs. Rachael Haddon, of Jascphlne,
Pa.i is the guest of her son, H. S. Haddon,
on Hill street. M-s. Haddon is in her
87th year.
Thomas W. White will go to Eldorado,
Blair county, this week to erect a new
kiln for the Eldorado Brick Company at
that place.
Sister Marie Agnes, one of the teachers
atJhe parochial school, was called to
Sharon the past week on account of the
death of a sister.
Fred Lidle, who has been visiting hie
parents, L. G. Lidle, near Rathmel, for
several weeks, left for Sapulpa, Oklahoma,
yesterday morning.
John K. Keys, one of The Star's old
subscribers at Enierickville, has moved
to New Kensington and expects to make
that his permanent home.
Maurice Bolger, who is travelling for
the Vulcnn Soot Cleaning Company, spent
Sunday at the home of his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. P. F. Bolger, In Reynoldsville.
H. L. Dixon, of Pittsburgh, Henry
Williams, of Oak Ridge, and N? L. Strong,
of Brookvllle, attended a meeting of the
Star Glass Company's directors Saturday
afternoon.
J. G. Brenholta, who has been visiting a
daughter at Carrolltown for several
months, spent the past week with his son
in this place. He will return to Carroll
town to spend the winter. '
Dr. J. H. Murray went to Washington,
D. C, last week, witnessed the opening of
Congress and met his wife and children,
who had been visiting at Mrs. Murray's
home in Virginia for several weeks.
Alfred Oliphant, who has been hunting
with Will Scott in the woods near Dents
Run for the past month, returned to
Atlantic City last evening. In March
Mossrs. Scott and Oliphant will join
Norrls Bros, circus.
Dennis O'Brien and granddaughter,
Miss Florence O'Brien, went to Pitts
burg yesterday. Mr. O'Brien will return
to Reynoldsville at once but Florence will
go to Grafton, Ohio, and visit with
relatives for several months.

oldsville Sunday.
Mrs. P. W. Yeaney visited her sister,
Mrs. Rev. W. W. Elrick, at Troutville, a
few days the past week. ,'
H. C. Fleming, chief burgess of Drift
wood, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Robert Z. Parrish a day last week.
A. P. Utter and wife, who have been at
Beaver Falls, Pa., visiting for a few weeks,
returned to their Reynoldsville home last
week.
Mrs. Charles McGinty and children, of
Tyler, visited at the home of Mrs. Mc
Glnjy's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas
Black, over Sunday.
J. E. Keys, of Verona, came to Reynolds
ville yesterday and for the next week
will make his headquarters at the home of
his grandfather, J. R. Keys, near
Emerlckville, and spend the days in the
woods hunting the elusive rabbit. .
Mr. and Mrs. George W. Kline returned
to Reynoldsville last Friday after spending
two weeks among friends and relatives in
Kittanning, New Kensington, Pittsburgh,
Fayette City and other places in Western
Pennsylvania. They had a delightful time
during the trip. '
James Lusk was called to New
Kensington, Pa., Monday to attend the
funeral of a grandson, John Oswald, the
son, of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Oswald,
former residents of Brookville. . John
Oswald was 19 years old at the time of
death. The funeral was held Tuesday at
10:00 o'clock.
John A. Welsh and A. C. Fish left to
gether Monday afternoon on trips to the
west. Mr. Fish will go to Boyero, Colo
rado, and Mr. Welsh to Hot Springs, Ark.
where he will try to boil out the
rheumatic pains that make life anything
but one long sweet song. The gentlemen
travel together as far as St. Louis. Mr.
Welsh may stay three months, but may
return sooner 'If benefitted by the treat
