Rev. Charles E. Rudy, who resigned
as pastor of the Reynoldsville Lutheran
church, went to Woodlawn, bis new
charge, Monday morning. He was
accompanied by his wife and child.
Mrs. Mary Thompson, who was visit
ing friends In Reynoldsville, Euierlck
vllle, and other points in Western
Pennsylvania several months, returned
to her borne in Aline, Oklahoma,
Friday.
Miss Emma Smith, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. J. J. Smith, of this place, has
resigned her position as a trained nurse
in Clarion and sailed for Panama to
visit her sister, Mrs. C. N. McPherson,
who resides there.

Everett Blose and family were called
to Dyton, Pa,, yesterday to attend the
funeral of the former's mother, Mrs.
Anna Blose, who died Saturday at the
age of 73 years. The deceased was the
grandmother of Mrs. I. C. Stormer, of
Reynoldsville.
Miss Jennie Klrkman has returned to
her home in Ciymer after a five day
visit at the home of her parents, Mr.

pastorate at Chlcora, Pa., and while

last Saturday morning' was Jacob
Hennlnger, who belonged to Co. D. 6th
Pa. Res. Vol. Having -been born and
raised in that part part of Pennsyl
vania, Mr. Henningbr expeots to visit
several places before returning, Includ
ing his old home towns, Cbambersburg,
Greencastle, Lanoaster, Mercersburg,
and Markes. All of the towns are
within a short distance of Gettysburg.
