First Happenings.
when Dr. McKniifht practiced In thin
place there were only about a dozen
families living there. He performed
the first surgical operation In Reynolds
vllle on the night of November 10th, ,
1873. Amputated the arm of John
McHugh in Frank' Tavern, then the
Reynolds house.

many of them. In fact, the town Is full'
of them, but one of the rast interest
ing of the old boys who have come back
to live in memory's airship the days
of long ago Is John Rohaker Old
John Robaker. Reynoldevllle Is sup
posed to have first appeared on the
map back in 1873. John Robaker lived
there ten years before that time, and
in his old leather wallet, he stilt has the
certificate which says ho joined the
American Mechanics, or some other
order, back in 1805. He is
eighty-five years old now, and with his
family he lives in the oil fields or Old
Virginia. In 1875-32 years ago he
left Reynoldsvllle. He ii back this
week for the first time since them.

ing his brother, Robert Z. Parris, In
this place.
