Pacific Coast and Orand Canyon.
On account of the General Conference
of the Methodist Episcopal Church, to
bo held at Los Angeles. Cat., beginning
May 3, tho Pennsylvania Kallroad
Company will run a porsnnally-uonducl-ed
tour to Los Angeles, visiting the
Grand Canyon of Arizona rn route, at
unusually low rates. A special train of
the highest grado Pullman equipment
will leave New York, Philadelphia, and
Pittsburg on Wednesday, April 27,
runnnlng via Chicago and tho Ranla
Fe Iloute to tho Grand Canyon. Sun
day will bo spent at this wonderful
place, and Los Angeles will be reached
on the evening of May 2. Round-trip
tickets, Including transportation, one
double berth, and meals on special train
going ; and transportation only return
ing on regular trains via direct routes
or via San Francisco, will be sold at
rate of HOtt from Now York, 1105 from
Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washing
ton, and 1100 from Pittsburg. Tickets
will be good to return at any timo he
fore June .10. Tourists returning vis
St. Louis may stop off for ten days to
visit the World's Fair, by depositing
ticket and paying 11.00 fee. A de

Mrs W. R. Morrison Dead.
Mrs. William H. Morrison, of Coal
Glen, died at 11.00 o'clock yesterday
(Thursday) morning. Mrs. Morrison
was the wife of a well known citizen of
Coal Glen and at tho timo of her death
was about fifty years of age. The cause
of her death was pneumonia, from which
disease sho had been sneering but a
short time. Besides her husband she
leaves threo sons. Tboy are F. It. and
Alvln, both of whom are marrlrd and
live t Coal Glen, and Bird, the young
est, who lives at home. The funeral
servievs will ho held from the runldnnce
on Sulurduy morning at 10.00 o'clock
and Interment will lm inndo In Beech
woods Cemetery. Mrs. Morrison was
highly respected In the community and
her many friends will hear with sorrow
