Tho constables finally found hltn and

should be sworn Into servloo to capture
the person wanted. And persons who
Interfere with an officer whon he is per

for Interfering. The law is not a pluy
thing. It should be more rigidly en

Police Protection Needed.
Rowdyism has been rampant frequent
ly In this borough slnco the night-
watchman has been tukon off, and oc
caslonully during the day dlsordor has
boon apparent, and It is very likely thut
during tho holiday season drunkenness
and dlsordor will bo consplcloug on our
streets unless two or threo officers are
on duty night and duy tho next eight or
ten duys. Tho borough authorities
should seo to It that good men are ap
pointed to perform police duty. Don't
select men that will join in tho rabble
and get about as drunn as tho other
follows. A drunken officer trying to
enforce tho law is a travesty on the
luw, and such things have been seen in
Roynoldsvillo in day gone by
Police protection during the holidays
will cost the borough some money, but
if tho propor men are put on duty and
they enforce the law the receipts from
arrests and fines will more than pay the
extra expense and our town will not be
over-run with drunkenness and row
dyism. If this matter has not been
attended to already, by all means give
it attantion immediately.
