A surprise party wns held for Mrs.
Ella Snyder last Wednesday, which was
attended by about forty people. All
report a very pleasant time.
The two-month-old son of Frank Sny
der dl.'d on Friday evening and was
burled In the Lutheran cemetery at
Emerlckvllle Sunday. This was Frank's
only son.
John De.erner, who was working on
James Butler's log job. near Rathmel,
met with quite a serious accident Sat
urday morning, which will possibly
result in the amputation of two or three
toes of his left foot. He cut his foot
with an ax.
Robbed the Orave.
A startling Incident, Is narrated by
John Oliver of Philadelphia, as follows:
