See. 1. That It ahall be unlawful for
any person or pernoiiH to water or at
tempt to wator any kind of an animal
or boast at that aide nf tho aforesaid
fountain used as adrinking place for tho
people, being tho amalloRt bowl there
on, or to place or to put In said fountain
any aticka, atonoa, gravel or other sub
stances to the damage or Injury of said
fountain or to the pollution of tho water
therein or coming therein or to wanton
ly, carelessly or recklessly ride or drive
any horao, horses, carriage, wagon or
other vehicle against tho same or wantonly,-carelessly
or negligently do any
other aot or thing to the Injury, dam
ago or defacement of said fountain or
tho pollution of the water therein or
coming therein.

borough without warrant and upon
view to arrest and commit for hearing
any and all persons guilty of violating
this ordinance or offending against It as
" aforesaid and upon summary conviction
as in criminal cases as provided by law
before the Chlof Uurgess or Justice of
the Peace beforo whom complaint Is
raado or the proceeding begun, shall
pay a fine or penalty of not loss
than one ($1.00) nor more than twenty
five ($25.00) for each ofTonso as afore
said and upon judgment, payment there
of to be enforced as may be provldod
by. law and In case of default of payment
of fine or penalty so imposed by said
judgement, the defendant may be sen
tenced and committed In manner and
form and for the time as directed by
law, unless the plaintiff in the action
electa otherwise to collect the said

of ordinance conflicting with the provi
sions of this ordinance be and the same
Is hereby repealed so far as he same
affects this ordinance.
