he would pay us in a day or two as sure

man lie or were wo never born?
Another man said ho would settle as
sure as shooting. We are led to the
conclusion that shooting is not very
curtain. Another hoped to go to the
devil if he didn't pay. Have not seen
him since; suppose he has gone, but
trust ho has not hoped in vain. Quite
. a number said they would see us to
morrow. They have been stricken blind
or to-morrow has not come. One man
bald ho would pay us as soon as he got
acute money. The man did not lie so of
course ho has not had a cent since."
' A whole book might be written upon
the subject of kitchen microbes, but
only a few suggestions can be given in

microbe and bacteria are often used In
