A meeting of the Order Eastern
Star Picnic Association of Northeast
ern Pennsylvania was held at the
Harrison House in Carbondale on
Saturday afternoon, March 18. The
meeting was called to order by the
President, Mrs. Anna M. Noble, of

A. J. Wilcox then gave a brief
sketch of the object of this Associa
tion, also stating some results hoped
to bo attained by this picnic which
will be held at Lake Lodore the last
of June. The subject was then
thoroughly discussed by the dele
gates present. Brother Fletcher was
appointed chairman of the commit
tee on transportation, also to secure
a date with the Lake Lodore Com
pany. It was decided to extend an
invitation to the 'Masonic fraternity
to attend the picnic. There being no
further business the meeting was ad
