a three-story structure, raised, and
nearly ready for the roof.
Edward Waltz has his barn torn
down and will have It erected nearer
his residence. The plot of ground,
on which it stood, has been purchas
ed by Dr. W. F. Decker of Philadel
phia. He will have a new dwelling
erected on it at nn early date.

moved to tho vicinity of Hawley.
But very little of this season's plant
ing of corn and potatoes has been
completed In this vicinity. Farm
work Is much delayed on account of
recent heavy rains, but the growing
crops give promise of a liberal har
vest. A. C. Angel Is about to tear down,
remodel and rebuild his barn near
the new state road.

Our pastor gave us a good sermon

Neal, the missing one, had a very
sick little grandson, and he was help
ing to tako care of him.

Irene Curtis, a student of the

tal with a severe case of measles.

Wayne, his name was withdrawn on
the fifty-second ballot and the nom
ination went to Carbon county.
