Last evening Samuel Walker assumed his position as leader of the Methodist Episcopal church choir at Wm. Penn. The choir was so augmented that it filled the entire chancel. Jacob Shinner, of Bowman's patch, near Mahanoy City, was burned to death at his homo at 10:30 o'clock Saturday night.
