Richard Caffrey, general road master of the Lehigh Valley Railroad, who was stricken with paralysis at an early hour Monday morning, died yesterday afternoon at his home in Bethlehem. James Oliver, who claims Shenandoah as his place of residence, died in the insane department at the county almshouse this morning. Deceased, was an inmate of the institution for twelve years. Efforts are being mado to locato friends or relatives here to claim the body. llorougli Supervisor Sued, Late this afternoon William Amulewlcz, tho East Centre street grocer, brought suit beforo Justice Shoemaker against Borough Supervisor Brennan and one of his laborers, John Fallon. The charge is assault and battery. In the scuffle Amulewlcz sustained a swollen upper lip and blood flowed from bis nose, whilo the Supervisor's right hand was gashed. Tbe trouble arose over Amulewlcz failing to remove his team from tbe front of his store to allow tbe Supervisor and his men to scatter a load of dirt which had been dumped there.
