A Wreck Prom Grippe,
Catarrh and Asthma.
RESTORED WITH
I was known as "The Woman wlio Coughs," for I coughed in
cessantly. I was a school teacher iill my health failed. Catarrh had
eaten away the partition in my nose. It had produced Bronchitis,
Asthma, dreadful Stomach troubles and weak kidneys. In fact it had
gone all through my system, making me an easy victim for the Grippe
which left me a wreck in mind and body. This was the condition the
doctors left me in, after dosing me with opium, quinine, etc. Then I
bought cough cures without end but they only made me worse, I was
in despair till I got hold of Brazilian Balm and Toxicola Tablets.
They acted like magic from the first, and iu a few weeks I was cured
and better than I had been in years. Talk about wonderful remedies,
Brazilian Balm and Toxicola saved my life.

Phi Is. Juna C An order of the day
was yealerdny accepted by the govern

Autoull and Approving the declaration
of Iho government. It wr carried
without a division after the firit part
had been adopted by a vote of 518 to
32 nnd the necond part had ben voted
by 326 to 173.
The chamber, by 299 to 388 votes,
decided to adjourn the appointment ot
a commission of inquiry Into the con
duct ot Oonoral Mercler, the former
minister of war, until aftor the court
martial at Rennes, which is to try
Dreyfus, as n reault of the decision of
the court of carnation.
There were violent scones In the
chamber of deutles, owing to Royalist
denunciations of President Loubet, nnd
tho soldiers on duty had to expel the
chief nntl-Loubet speaker, M. Rlous
de Lagentaye.
The prefect of pollco, M. Blanc, has
ordered the closure of the Automobile
Club de France, of which the Comte
de Dion, who was one of the ring
leaders at Auteull Sunday, Is presi
dent. A police commissary thereupon
proceeded to the club's premises, on
the Placo de La Concorde, and cloarcd
the members out, after which ho af
fixed seals to tho doors.
Vigorous measures havo been taken
to suppress demonstrations. Mounted
detachments of Republican Guards
have been stationed about the Placo
do La Concorde. In tho Ruo do L'Elyseo
and In the Rue des Tullorles.
Tho municipal council yesterday af
ternoon discussed the Auteull affair,
and M. Blanc, prefect of police, an
nounced that BO of thoso under arrest
would be prosecuted for Insulting tho
president. He animadverted severely
upon tho cowardice ot Count Chrls
tlanl, who now protends that ho struck
tho president by accident In his at
tempt to escape from the moleo. Tho
council unanimously adopted a reso
lution expressing Its abhorronco of tha
Insulting demonstration and Its re
spectful sympathy with and confi
dence In M. Loubet.
Lteutennnt Guelard has been ar
rested and charged not only with ut
tering seditious cries, but with as
saulting M. Touny, chief of the mu
nicipal police.
Tho Socialist and Radical deputies
In the lobbies of the .chamber eagerly
discussed tho measures adopted by tho
cabinet and criticized them as inade
quate. They demand tho closuro of all
Royalist clubs. Tha decision with
reforonce to General Mercler caused
great surprise.
The Republican deputies of all
shades of opinion have sent President
Loubet an address assuring him of
their respectful esteem and of their
devotion to republican institutions.
The scenes at Auteull on Sunday and
In tho chambor of doputles yesterday
have only had the effect of Increasing
the popularity of President Loubet and
of strengthening the hands of tho gov
ernment. The promptitude of the pre
mier, M. Dupuy, In carrying out his
promise to tako measures to Insure
Justice as soon as tho court of cassa
tion had pronounced judgment Is re
garded as proving that he himself can
show a clean bill and that, though ho
was proniler at the time, General Mer
cler kept him Ignorant of the measures
adopted against Dreyfus.
Interviews with various high per
sonages who witnessed tho incident at
Auteull aro published, all testifying
to the savagery of the demonstration.
It is asserted that, although the prico
of admission to the paddock was 20
francs, this was full of coachmon,
footmen and valets, evidently sent
there to create a disturbance.
The papers praise the calmness of
President Loubet throughout the dem
onstration against him. In replying
to the stewards of tho Autoull races,
tho President remarked:
"You are in no way responsible, and
to prove that I havo no anger with you
If there woro races tomorrow I would
attend them. I am Invited to witness
the Grand Prix on Sunday next, and
you may bo sure I will bo present."
On his return to tho Elysee M. Lou
bet said to thoso who accompanied
him:
"All of my family opposed my be
coming president, and I had no desiro
to remain at tho Elysce, but now that
It Is dangerous to be the chief of stato
my duty Is clear, and I will let my
enemies, If I have any, bo convinced
thnt I shall accomplish my mission
to the end."
Of the 130 persons arrested In con
nection with tho demonstration 43 aro
still held In custody.
M. Le Mercler, tho examining magistrate,-
last night began the interro
gation of those under arrest for par
ticipating In Sunday's rioting. Ten,
including M. Do Pannizz Passy, havo
been provisionally released. About 15
will be prosecuted on charge of rebel

" I am pretty well now, for a man of sixty
three years," says Mr. John Larson of Ashby,
Grant Co , Minn. I haU been very badly troub
led for many years with dyspepsia, also naal
catarrh, and got so bad anu weak that I could
not work
"I could hardly eat anything without remit
!ng; had a pain In the stomach and a burniiifi:
sensation coming into the throat. I took t)r
Pierce's Golden Medial Discovery and Pleasant
Pellets.' and can truly say these medicine have
helped me wonderfully. I commenced taking
them In the fait and used them all winter. 1
took fifteen bottles of the 'Discovery' and six
of the 'Pellets' according to direction, and
must say that both are good honest medicines.
" I Improved right nton? from the very bejrln
ning. I just stopped takine medicine in the
latter part of May and then felt as well as ever
In ray life. I can eat all kinds of food and it
dosen't cause me any pain In my stomach now
as it always did before 1 took Dr. Pierce's med
icines. I can cheerfully say to the public that
they need not hesitate In taking l)r Pierce's
Golden Medical Discovery for dyspepsia ; It
will eradicate and cure the disease If anything
will."
If you are in poor health write to Dr.
R. V. Pierce, of Buffalo, N. Y. It will
cost you nothing whatever for his advice
although he is at the very head of his
profession in the treatment of obstinate
chronic diseases.
