Uccauso It Is tlic Experience of n
Shenandoah Citizen and Can
Readily be Investigated.
A stmtiEor lust la a large city would placo
fur more dependence) on tho directions givon
lilm by n local resident than tlio guidance of
another stranger llko himself. This Is a
natural consequence of experience; It's llko
a ship In a strange port a trusty pilot fa
miliar with tho harbor Is always called upou
to lirlug her safely to her moorings. So It Is
with endorsement; we doubt tho sayings bf
people living at distant points because we
can't Investigate but public expression of
local citizens can ho depended on, for 'tis an
ensy mstter to provo It. Evidence llko tho
following Is beyond dispute !
Mrs. It 8. Schort, of 600 West Cherry
street, says : "I sutTcrcd Intensely with pain
in my back and lameness across my loins. I
was burdened with a feeling of wcarlncs
causing a loss of energy. A friend, Mr.
Lord, of Pnttsvlllo, advised mo to use Doan's
Kiduoy Pills and I was Induced to get them
from Klrlln's pharmacy. I had not, how
ever, much confidence In them at first but
thoy proved mo9t satisfactory. I do not
think I ever had any medlclno to do mo so
much good. I began to Improve Immediate'
lyand tho languor soon lclt me. I can also
recommend Doau's Ointment. It cured our

A Wreck From Grippe,
Catarrh and Asthma.
RESTORED WITH
I was known as "The Woman who Coughs," for I coughed in
cessantly. I was a school teacher lill my health failed. Catarrh had
eaten away the partition in my nose. It had produced Bronchitis,
Asthma, dreadful Stomach troubles and weak kidneys. In fact it had
gone all through my system, making me an easy victim for the Grippe
which left me a wreck in mind and body. This was the condition the
doctors left me in, after dosing me with opium, quinine, etc. Then I
bought cough cures without end but they only made me worse, I was
in despair till I got hold of Brazilian Balm and Toxicola Tablets.
They acted like magic from the first, and in a few weeks I was cured
and better than I had been in years. Talk about wonderful remedies,
Brazilian Balm and Toxicola saved my life.

When a man has nervous prostration
It isn't his nerves that are wrong. It's
his blood. Bad blood comes from bad
digestion bad stomach, bad liver, bad
kidneys. Dr. Pierce's Golden Medical
Discovery will put all these organs in
good order. "Golden Medical Discov
ery " contains no alcohol in any form. It
is entirely free from opium and other
ssreotict and contains neither sugar nor
syrup which are injurious to some stom
achs. Without any of these ingredients
It retains its pleasant taste and healing
qualities in any climate and under all
conditions.
Don't let a careless or dishonest medi
cine seller cheat you out of your health
by giving you a substitute.
